Inbound Sales Executive

The Position
School Cloud Systems, an established SaaS company with over a million end-users, seeks an excellent computer literate salesperson to close warm leads, cross-sell products to existing customers and build new leads by calling targeted schools. You’ll be allocated a territory in the UK and internationally. Additionally, you’ll demo our products to prospective customers and provide pre-sales support. Previous sales experience is required (software sales preferred) as you’ll manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation to closing the sale. Experience in the education sector would be a great bonus.

Experience

  • 2+ years sales experience
  • (Desirable) Sales experience within the education sector
  • (Desirable) Software / SaaS sales experience

  • Comfortable with technology. Your friends & family come to you for help using a new website or app on their phone.
  • An excellent communicator with an excellent command of the English language (after-all, you'll be speaking with Headteachers).

  • A relationship builder. People like talking to you and you get to know people well.
  • Extremely process-oriented and excellent analytical skills. You continuously monitor metrics.

Benefits & Salary
£19,000 - £22,500 plus uncapped commission (£27,000 - £30,500 OTE).

Full Stack Developer - Junior & Mid-Level

School Cloud Systems is a multi-award winning SaaS company improving parental engagement at over 3,500 schools worldwide. We provide solutions for managing parents’ evenings, after-school clubs & resource scheduling, which are used by over a million end-users.

We’re looking for full-stack developers of all experience levels who are genuinely passionate about developing great software. You’ll be primarily developing with .NET Core, React, TypeScript, Sass, EF Core & SQL Server. You can expect to develop intuitive user experiences & API methods for new features, dive deep into complex customer-facing issues, and help architect & build new products.

About You

  • Either 3 years of industry experience -OR- Computing Science degree
  • Experience with .NET MVC building web-applications
  • Experience with React or another front-end framework (e.g. Angular, Ember, Vue, Backbone)
  • Promote best-practices to build stable, high performing web-applications
  • Quick to pick up new technologies and passionate about development
  • Deep understanding of OO design principles
  • Keen eye for detail and believer in testing to ensure high quality code

Position & Benefits
Although the role is full-time, we believe in a great work/life balance and hence stick to a 36.25 hour working week. In addition to a competitive salary & pension, you’ll receive 31 days annual leave and have the option of flexible working around the core hours of 09:30 - 15:45.
